OVERVIEW
Like many other sectors, sustainable energy has been under huge pressure during the last year. In fact, the Covid-19 pandemic that expanded all over the world has caused remarkable damages to world economies, including Lebanon. In addition, our country has suffered and is still suffering from an extreme economic and financial crisis. The road has darkened.
The International Beirut Energy Forum (IBEF) 2020+ comes amidst those tough times, proposing a message of hope, faith, and a will for a better tomorrow. On 27 and 28 January 2021, experts from Lebanon and the international community will gather -both physically and virtually- to discuss and elaborate action plans, projects, and programs aiming at developing renewable energy and energy efficiency in Lebanon and the entire region. Our world needs exceptional efforts from all concerned parties to rethink energy strategies, to adapt to environmental challenges, and to find sustainable solutions.
The ability of the world population to cope with climate changes, to mitigate their effects, and to adapt to their impacts poses a tough responsibility on policy makers, energy leaders, and technology developers.
At IBEF 2020+, the local and international energy community will be meeting, exchanging views, creating business links, and developing financing schemes for the entire spectrum of sustainable energy. Join IBEF 2020+, become a member of the Fellowship of Sustainable Energy, working towards a prosperous future for all.
